Hand-me-downs to my sons

While I know they don’t exactly understand my battle with multiple sclerosis, I hope that my sons are gleaning some important themes from my life. I strive to be the type of person that I’d like them to become, and I hope they know that my fight with multiple sclerosis is done as much for them as it is for me. I want them to know that nothing can defeat them and that they can get through anything in their lives.

Some personal highlights from #CMSC2017

I’m going to be honest. It took me several days to recover from the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers Annual Meeting (#CMSC2017). I had no idea that it would drain me like it did. As I said in my previous post (Recovering from #CMSC2017), this was unlike any other conference I have ever attended because I felt a true emotional connection to this event. I mean, how could I not?!

Recovering from #CMSC2017

I just returned last night from the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) Annual Meeting. It was a whirlwind of an event for me and while I probably should be resting right now, I just can’t stop thinking about the past three days in New Orleans. There was so much important information in the air at that meeting and so many amazing people to meet. It was truly a special experience for me to attend my first, of hopefully many, of these types of conferences.

Like a kid in the candy store! Attending CMSC 2017!

Next week I will be in New Orleans to attend the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) Annual Meeting. I’m really looking forward to this event and I know I’m going to be like a kid in the candy store. I have to bring my excitement level down a notch or two but I can’t help it! It is so thrilling for me to be surrounded by the leading minds and practitioners in MS treatment, research, and care.
